Introducing Hafoso Automation 2.0

The most common piece of feedback we hear from customers is simple: "I love automations, but I want to do more with them." Automation 2.0 is our answer.

We have completely rebuilt the Hafoso automation engine from the ground up. The result is faster, more flexible, and — most importantly — easier to use than ever before. Here is everything that is new, everything that is improved, and how to get started.

What's New: Visual Builder, Branching, and AI Suggestions

The old automation builder was linear — trigger, action, done. Automation 2.0 introduces a visual drag-and-drop builder where you can see your entire workflow as a flowchart. Add branches, conditions, delays, and loops. Build multi-step workflows that adapt based on what actually happens — not just what you planned for.

We have also added AI-assisted workflow suggestions. After 30 days of using Hafoso, the system analyses your most-repeated manual actions and suggests automations you had not thought to set up. Early testers found an average of 4 additional automations they could add immediately.

What's Improved: 10x Faster Processing and Better Error Handling

The new automation engine processes triggers 10x faster than the previous version. Appointment reminders that used to go out minutes after a booking now go out in seconds. We have also completely rebuilt error handling — instead of silent failures, you now get clear notifications when a workflow encounters a problem, with a one-click retry option.

How to Access and Migrate Your Existing Workflows

All existing automations have been automatically migrated to the new engine — nothing will break. You can access the new visual builder from your dashboard under Automations → Open Builder. Your existing workflows will appear as flowcharts, which you can edit at any time.

What's Coming Next

Over the next quarter, we are adding: webhook triggers so you can connect Hafoso automations to any third-party app, a shared workflow library where customers can publish and reuse each other's automation templates, and natural language workflow creation — describe what you want in plain English and Hafoso will build the workflow for you.
